• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Sharpening question?

I searched the forum and I could not find any information. I just got a ZT 801 and I was thinking about sharpening it. My concern is if the knife can become less desirable if sharpened?

All knives need to be sharpened from time to time. If you're worried about resale value. It's better to stick with the factory grinds when sharpening as opposed to change the factory grind to something different. Why buy the knife if you're not going to use it????
Any knife that has been used does not fetch as much as a NIB knife.

I agree, but I have another lower value knife that I rather beat on. I was just curious if it would ruin the value but then again its nice to have a knife with a mirrored edge.

Just don't scratch up the blade. Put painters tape on everything but the edge.
