Sharpening question

I have a Buck Bantam and should i sharpen it on 30 or 40 degree angle on my sharpmaker?

Hov, Welcome . IF your meaning 30* inclusive angle then yes . Try that on your Sharpmaker and see if it works . DM

I would go with a 30. a 40 degree angle is way to steep in my opinion. I usually sharpen freehand but try to get around a 20 degree angle on my knives.
