Interested in decent sized - quality traditional sharpening stones - a variety of hardness.

Can you recommend brand and/or vendor for best prices? Believe in the past Smith's Arkansas was a brand that was popular but know things change.

DMT is a good brand for diamond stones, I have a couple and like them. I bought mine locally at a Woodcrafters, I am not sure who has them for the best price online. They have different sizes and grits to suit your needs.

If you're only interested in "traditionals" like carborundum and wetstones, Arkansas stones, etc. you're going to do as well there as anywhere.

I've had good luck with EZE lap rods for many years but now we're into diamonds...and the DMT stones work well. I like the larger block stones best.
