Is a professional hand grinding machine for sharpening knives and scissors of the “Apex” type with a swivel mechanism. By purchasing an apexoid with a swivel mechanism, you get a unique and universal grinding machine for sharpening knives with a blade of any type, as well as sharpening scissors. The peculiarity of the rotary mechanism is that during the sharpening the cutting edge of the blade is constantly in the same plane, making a revolution of 180º. Thus, even the theoretical possibility of leaving a given angle of sharpening disappears, and the sharpening time is reduced to 50%. The machine is made exclusively of high-quality materials, precise adjustment of parts and reliability of the construction is guaranteed. The base of the machine is completely made of metal. The holders of the stone, leveling the washer made of brass, the limiters of the course of the guide made of galvanized steel. Clamps of the blade made of heat-treated spring steel 60s2a, vertical and horizontal guides made of stainless steel, the machine is powder coated in the factory. The minimum angle of sharpening to the side is 7 °.
The set includes a device for fine adjustment of the angle of sharpening and a platform for installing the protractor.
