How To Sharpening tanto Umnumzaan

i have a Tanto Umnumzaan and I would like how you sharpen yours.

so far I have maintained the edge with a leather strop but as plan to use it harder in the next couple of weeks I will have to do more substantial edge maintenance

Do you sharpen the Tanto tip?
What angles do you use?
What system do you use?


Just for information, I have a spyderco sharpmaker, a WE 130p and a leather strop at hand

I use a TSProf, and I find the edge angles with a sharpie. The most important thing is to treat it like 2 separate edges, and sharpen each separately.

Do you know the angle of the factory edge?

I’ve touched mine up on a sharpmaker. I treat it like two different knives. The flat like a regular knife, then I hold it kinda like a pencil to work on the tip.

The factory edge is convex, and No, I don't know the exact angle.
