Sharpening using Sharpmaker's 30 deg.

Sal,

As you mentioned in a previous post all Spydercos come with a 30 degree angle edge from the factory

My question: Why not use the 30 degree on the 204MF to sharpen Spydercos ??? Why use 40 degree (I know it lasts longer) but what more ?
 
AG - The 40 degree angle is more durable and will take more abuse. 40 degrees is still razor sharp and is not as likely to deform.
