Sharpening ZDP-189...

I received a Spyderco Dragonfly w/a ZDP-189 blade. is a tri-hone system sufficient to keep this thing sharp? I doubt I'd ever need anything other than the finest stone I have, but I also don't want to ruin the edge.

I'd love to hear some suggestions, but if it involves purchasing something over $50, I'm probably not going to be able to do it.

Thanks in advance.

Most anything will sharpen ZDP, it's a very hard steel and takes some time to sharpen but even Arkansas stones will get the job done. Without diamond or Waterstones it's going to be a bit slow going but with the small blade it shouldn't be bad.

Thank you! I do use oil on the stones, but I doubt that will change much.
