i'd have to say the 1660cb edged out the rainbow. It arrived -wanting- to cut. I set the box on the table with the rest of the mail, thought about opening the box, and zipzipzip the CB had freed itself. It is -that- sharp.
One of the factors that keeps me buying/recommending Kershaws is that they always arrive scary sharp, but I only have a few, and all 1660 variants. I'd love to send one to Tim Krein, since those here who have all agree that knives come back from him REALLY sharp.
Is there an objective way to measure sharpness? Most seem to use shaving as a test (can you tell a knife lover 'cause of bare forearms?) but that seems limited. Is there a quantitative test?
