Blade is kinda like the Schrade sharpfinger knives. My Damascus that has been normalized by heating to critical tempature (where a magnet will not stick) and then air cool. This is done three times for correct grain structure. Blade was heat treated using Mcmasters fast quench and then tempered. Damascus is 1095 and nickel with cutting core of 1095. Wrought iron guard, ferrule and buttcap on India Sambar Stag. Blade length is 4 " and overall length is 8 1/2 inches. SOLD! plus 5.00 priority mail. My e-mail and paypal is dangraves4923@earthlink.net Thanks

I have a couple in this style from Dan and while they look elegant almost to the point of being delicate, they have an extremely solid feel to them once you have them in your hand. Truly exceptional pieces.

Beautiful knife, I can't believe it has not sold. Someone will snag it and be highly impressed with the quality and how it feels in the hand!
