Sharpmaker and convex grinds

Does the Spyderco Sharpmaker work on convex ground blades?

Yes and no

(I'm assuming you're referring to a convex edge, not necessarily a convex grind)

It doesn't maintain a convex edge, it would soon replace it with a standard "V" edge.

Sand paper of various grits, leather, and a mousepad is all you really need......
