When I recently picked up a Kopa (Black Micarta) from New Graham, I also ordered the Sharpmaker DVD because I'm thinking about finally chucking the old VCR. When I popped the DVD in, I was very surprised to see that it was one long "Chapter", undivided by any kind of sections.
I'm not suggesting that Spyderco should produce another DVD, but I can't imagine that it would take a lot of money to have some video production company make up a simple interface and insert some kind of dividers into the file. What I'm picturing is that you could insert the DVD, and then choose "Scissors" from the menu, and it would jump straight to the section on scissors. This would be much better than having to fast forward to the section you want to see.
A more radical solution to this would be for Spyderco to divide the video into some sort of logical segments of 3-5 minutes each, and release them on one of the now very popular video sharing sites, like YouTube. Personally, I would find it more convenient to just click to the video online than firing up the TV and DVD player, but that's me. For $5 a disk, I can't image that they're making much money on sales of the DVD alone.
