Can you use a sharpmaker on a serrated edge that's only sharpened on one side, or will that just mess up the knife? I'm considering buying one in the near future, and I'd appreciate any info you can give me!
It works great. The edge of the triangle stones fit easily into the serrations. You just take time to draw the knife and let the stone ride in and out of the serrations. You can't do this with circular sharpening rods. You need the triangle shaped ones.
I sharpen both sides. The tiny primary micro-bevel is almost unnoticeable and it help the sharpness.
