What grit wet/dry sandpaper would you say the rods come with sharpmaker is equivelent to?

To the best of my knowledge
corners of midium 600
flats of white 1600
flats of ultra fine 2000

So the standard set comes with medium (grey) and fine (white), right?

How well do the ceramic rods last? Do they wear down like benchstones?

Medium will wear down, fine and ultra-fine won't. I'm not sure about the diamond rods.

I've had my set for about two years, and I can tell that the corners of the medium rods are getting a little less sharp. They still work fine, though.
