  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Sharpmaker question

I didn't know that. Danke42 mentioned it as well and it does sound like the right call, designwise. I wonder if that was always the case, or if it was a CQI?
My diamond rods are many years old. I don't recall whether they were purchased while I was still using my single angle Sharpmaker. Which I have set up downstairs as a back up to the dual angle version upstairs.

Are they still cutting well for you Blues Blues ?

I clean them regularly. I also don't use them for the heavy lifting. I have all kinds of stones...India, Crystolon, Arkansas, plated diamond, bonded diamond, lots of ceramics, etc etc.

They do what I need them to do in their niche.

The Sharpmaker is a great tool. You can lay the rods flat and use it as a bench stone.

I bought the cbn rods, too.
