i got this for my birthday from my ladyfriend an i must say its a great product....and the infomercial/instructional dvd was top notch to say the least:thumbup:

I have always used stones - diamond and Arkansas - and strops, but I recently got a Sharpmaker so my son could sharpen his knives. He really likes it. It is very simple to use and it works well. I would recommend it highly.
