Hey everyone - I got the the Sharpshooter sheath in the mail today after having sent it back for the issue with the retention strap. Derrick at NSF.com was awesome and gave amazing customer service.

I like the sheath and look forward to putting it to use in the woods. I'm not too sure I will prefer this sheath of the kydex it came with, but I'm a huge fan of leather so if it works out I'll be happy. I may get chased by some animals though, it smells like donuts... :D

Here are some pics I was messing around with while waiting for my London broil to finish up on the grill.

Thanks - I've been messing around with props a little bit to see if I can get a hang of what works in what scenarios.

I'm very interested in testing the functionality of this sheath.

I like the profile shot - the RC-3 looks like a kick'n ass cutter......
Our flag isn't tough enough to shoot pictures off of....where's Doc-canada's July 1 photo??????

HUH! Your RAT logo is upside down!

I'm still waiting on my RC4!! It's weird just having the sheath. :(

Yup, it is upside down. The last thing I feel like doing is sending the sheath back again. It functions well now and the logo is not a huge concern of mine.

It would be cool if it was perfect the first time though. Oh well, no biggee.

When you look down it will be facing up at you.

Look at it this way, if they send you a new one you might be able to keep using it while the new one gets shipped to you. Might be worth a try.

Thanks, Tony. I'm a big fan of the RC3, I plan to get the entire collection of RATs over time. It's easier to sharpen than any other knife I own. I can't wait to put the sheath through it's paces.
