does anyone use a DE razor to shave your entire head?

I've certainly heard of quite a few people that do this.

This is one area I might prefer to use a cartridge due to impact and cutting potential

NOPE have to use a straight razor! It can be done but one should have a while of experience first as its difficult to get all the angles right. Ones head is rarely a smooth circle. Willgoy brings up a good point, this might be a excellent place for a cartridge or have some one else do it.
