Shawn Ellis J/S is a part time knifemaker who works very hard at his craft. He just finished three competition/camp knives he calls the three Amego's, but he's not finished until he puts them through his testing program to see if they meet his standards. As you can see in photo #1 Shawn cut 10 bottles of water with one swing. Those of you who have ever been to a cutting competition this is no easy task, he also test them on the 2"by4" board, a one inch rope, and then shaves the hair on his arm to test the edge. Shawn won 1st place for the best combat knife at the Sprit of Steel show in 2005.
