What makes this SHBM? Looks more to me like a Custom Shop ASHBM piece.
 
Thanks Nismo17 – I should have been more helpful in my response. This SHBM predates the ASHBM by a decade. Aside from the coating mentioned above the ASHBM is longer, thicker and has a more deeply contoured handle with scallops fore and aft. Here she is next to a ASHBM.
