Ok, I am selling a very old SHBM. This SHBM is cut much differently than most SHBM's you will see. The side profile is the same, but the thickness of the blade is not uniform from spine to edge. This knife is more of a convex blade to the edge. It is similar to Waynes Hood SHBM's and a few other SHBM's I own that are very old. These were not machine ground perfectly flat sides. This type of profile had to be done by hand and was only done in the earliest knives because it was time consuming.

The knife is also Fat. It mics out to 0.274 after being made satin by me. With the coating the knife would have been 0.30 inches. The combination of the thickness and convex blade profile makes this one very heavy SHBM. The tip of this knife is not thin and as you can see, again the first ones looked like this and made the SHBM reputation for having incredible tip strength.

This is a blade that was made for heavy use. I removed the coating and made it satin by hand rubbing. No machine has ever touched this knife.

It's going because I have it's twin (well, lets just say it's twins).

The knife comes with the Leatherman Sheath, which is a cross the back or chest carry, and can be modded to carry on belt. This sheath is Kydex/leather fusion type and it is probably one of the best sheaths you could get. Expensive but worth it.

I am selling the knife and sheath for $1375 shipped, insured conus. No trades, no offers of any kind. This is a great knife and very rare, the sheath is worth a lot and so was my painstaking time to remove the coating and make satin.

These two pics show the heavy tip and blade thickness all the way to the end

Besides being made satin, is it used?

Since I took the coating off, that automatically makes it a user. Does it have any nicks or other issues? no. It is a massive SHBM, one of the heaviest SHBM's I have ever had.

Dennis, put this one on "hold" please and lets talk, I'll call you tonight, thanks. :D
