I cannot bring my self to use this knife and I already have a few users. I hope it goes to someone who is willing. This knife is one of three original 1998 SHBM LE Blanks finished by Jerry for me. He added the Birds beak to each to set them apart from anything else out there. The knife is almost 0.29" thick. I know I am going to regret selling this one. This is not a lightweight. This one is typical of the first original run knives in that it has a more convex shape near the tip which turns into flat grind going rearwards to the ricasso. The reason being that it was hand ground by Jerry himself as all the LE's were. IT comes with the multi position leather sheath by Dwayne, which is his fussion sheath. The knife has not been used but it has been pulled out of the sheath a few times, so it may have some blemishing that I can't tell.
