So, with the new site up and running I´m guessing that some of you have already put in your orders..

I´m usually a no choil kind of guy.. but when I was about to put in my order it just felt WRONG to order a Busse BM without.

Did you go with the choiled version or the one without?

Aaargh, I can´t buy both..

As much as I like some knives to be "no choil", I ordered my CGASHBM WITH a choil.;)

I think the new Battle Mistress looks odd without a choil.

If I order one it will definately have one.

Okay, weirdo here... I went for the CG SHBM with no Choil. My thoughts were maximum edge and nothing to get caught.
She'll be my first Mistress, and I wanted to try something a little different. :)

I could be wrong but if you look at the choiless version zoomed in on the website there appears to be a an unsharpened part of the blade closest to the handle. Which would normally be where the choil is. So I don't think your gaining more blade per say. Just a heads up incase that would change your mind.

Thanks for the heads up!

I saved both pix, and opened one on each monitor, it looks to me like there is a little more edge on the choil-less blade.

Hey Busse folk, could some kind soul please confirm the edge is longer on the no choil SHBM?

Thank you!!!!!!! :)

Ordered mine with a Choil, just seemed right:)

I wouldn't expect anything less from you Jaxx.....

How about the Mojo?

Not yet, but I will be. Got a question for the Shop first, so I'll wait til next week... No serial numbers, no rush. :)

I'm bucking the trend..went no choil. Why? Why not...I like varity / options and I already have choils on other Busses. Plus, I pair large knives with a folding knife and/or smaller fixed blade so choking up by using a choil is not a necessity for me.

I was going to go choiless, but I went with the classic Busse look. CGASHBM black blade with black canvas and choil:)
