I finally caved and bought my first Glock... I've been quite reluctant for some time to buy one, no offense, but they are just SO UGLY ;)


But my lust for a 10mm in a small package forced me over to the dark side, and boy am I glad it did :thumbup: This thing shoots surprisingly well. I'm shooting a tad high, which i hear is normal. Maybe an eventual grip reduction is in order.


While i was deliberating whether to buy such an "ugly" gun, my wife added her two cents ---- "It's not any uglier than that old beat up knife you carry all the time... :eek:"

So I threw my old beater MS into the picture. I guess beauty comes with use, and the corresponding trust you develop in a good tool :thumbup:

Talk about power in a small package! 10mm is a smoking round! My friend has a full sized 10mm and loves it for taking along on Hog Hunts.
I EDC a glock 27 and really like it.

That MS ain't half bad either!

I liked the simplicity/overall concept of the Glock, but they didn't fit my hand at all. I had to readjust my grip every time after the draw to point it. How does it point for you?
 
I EDC the 30 (Compact .45) 10MM is a HAND Cannon....I never had the chance to shoot the 29, but I would seriously look into reloading!

Outstanding pieces on both accounts!!!!!
 
Look into the contoured mag caps, adds another figure groove for a more secure grip/feel!!!
 
Actually, the typical first-time Glocker will go low and left with that trigger. Nice job going high and center.

Have that "beater" knife beat it's feet over to my house. ;)
 
Nice carry pieces there. Just be careful, if you actually have to shoot some one with it, the prosecutor will use the "that round is more powerful than the cops even use" indictment. Which will be followed by the "hollow points are used only for killing people" whine (I am referencing that recent thread on the hiker who shot a man with a 10mm kimber and was convicted of murder).


Nice knife there too. Tell you what, send it my way, and I will send you a Glock.
 
Hey Eli, it'll only be ugly until you send it over to Boresight Solutions and have Ben do an extreme reduction on it. Ben's the best polymer pimp out there. I guarantee that you'll be happy with his work. :thumbup:

It "feels" good, i guess we'll see howit holds up over time. I have some hot rounds on order, the stuff I've shot so far wasn't bad at all :thumbup:
