First off I am not by any means bad mouthing SOE's sheath made for the AR folder. I have two of them and they do a fine job. It's just that I find when undergoing a lot of physical activity where one might be on the ground the top flap (at least on both of mine) have a tendancy to pull to one side. Now the knife has not fallen out yet. So no problem. But I ordered a bunch of pouches from Eagle Industries last week and just tried one out on my AR for the heck of it. It is a little snug (with time it will loosen up a bit) but all the hook and loop material make contact to make for a secure closure. Just thought you guys might like the option. It can be worn horizontal... that's why I like them. I removed my pocket clip cause I figure I don't need one if I'm carrying it in a pouch. It makes for a bit smoother feeling tool in the hand.
