sheath / belt clip system for Pocket Hobbit

I am thinking of purchasing a Pocket Hobbit. However, I have a few questions.

a) The sheath / clip: Does it work well? I seached and found a photo of it, but I don't fully understand how it works.

b) I live in MA and am not sure if this is considered a double edged blade or not, due to the blade edge on one side and the serrations on the other. Double edged blades, in MA can get you in some serious problems.

Thanks in advance.

howdy, jayharly! re: the sheath--someone here on the REKAT forum (i think) not to long ago, said that the sheath worked really well, and that the knife deployed very fast, and the knife was very sharp. i, myself, am ordering one in just a few days from Discount Knives. i've had excellent service from Brian (the guy who runs/or owns the biz.
be well....

Hey Jay...

You may be happy to know that the back of the knife isn't serrated....

I don't think it would be considered a double edge...

Serrations are made for cutting,,these are made for grabbing or trapping...

Please someone correct me if I'am wrong and I will stand down..

The Kydex Belt Sheath performs excellent..
The PH deploys from the breakfront rapidly and smoothly..
It is an fantastic carry system..

Normark called it..
It is not considered a double edge knife..
(could still be a grey area in some states)

Great Knife.. Great Sheath..

Being from MA myself, I don't believe that u should have any trouble with this knife. I have many knives with serrations on the back, and those aren't considered 2-edge. and the PH back wouldn't either. u should be all set(but i'm no lawyer or leo, so take it with some salt). just don't wave it in front of sheeple with power, and u should be all set....lol.

Jay,

I know its a little late but I thought I'd add to Blackwatch's coment. Yes, the back serrations of a blade is not concidered a double edge in MA. There is case law on it. However, the PH is a little different putting it in that gray area. Wow that didn't help did it?

well, how about this...i just ordered one, and it should be here in 2 days...so, ill put it on the line with ya...actually, i really wanted one, and i found one for sale...
