I just finished a run of 10 of these for a SWAT team in California.

Does look like they have some type of secondary retention. Am i right?

The sheaths are Level II retention in that there is a user manipulated lock that must be disengaged before the knife will deploy.

Very cool, id never seen that level of retention for a knife. I could only imagine that it might come in handy in a prison riot scenario.
