Sheath for FAT NMFSH

For a leather sheath Leatherman is the man. Check to be sure on your thickness. The standard NMFSH could be considered fat at .32. The fatties at Blade 13 were IIRC .36.
 
Thanks u812, I believe mine is from Blade 2013, since it has a thickness of 9,5mm or .374 inches!
I am not sure if leatherman has one that fat, however, I asked Stacy in my email!
I think my NMFSH would love a nice leather sheath, just fits the knife, maybe black would go well with the Bruiser...

Leatherman, may I ask you again if you really do have a fat NMFSH (.37 thickness) to make a sheath for?
I didn't yet get an answer from your wife yet, which is not a problem, it would just be nice to know!

No worries, I've got it covered, welt thickness is simply a matter of adding or subtracting layers. Mine is a little thinner, but Ive worked sheaths for the .37 models successfully. :D

I reminded the wife this morning about your e-mail. She's been running hard all week.

No big ASH here, but, Jerry did mention that they are identical to the old ASH's but for thickness, and I can work with it. I do wish I could afford to buy all these wonderful knives coming out lately, its a good time to have spare funds. :( This is what I do full time, it sacrifices all that money I could make, but my heart is much happier doing what I do. :D

I have a question, maybe someone can help me:
Are the fat NMFSH and the normal thickness NMFSH the same specs? (blade width, length etc.)
Maybe someone has both models and can compare it for me...

Do the Battle Grade and the normal one have the same specs in terms of blade shape and all that? (Except the thickness of course.)

As soon as I recieve my BGASH I'll post some pics here. Should be two weeks :-) I know one of mine is ready
