Sheath for Gerber/Fiskars 28" handle axe?

The smaller Gerber/Fiskars hatchets used to come with really nice cordura sheaths. It looks like they all come with crappy little plastic snap cases these days. I have one of the 28" axes that came with the crappy case and has had a cardboard sheath for ages now. Does anyone know of a sheath for the larger axe? I would really like to be able to strap it to my pack for hunting. These are the best axes for the money, especially for Alaska. I have beat on them for years and they just don't break.

try JRE sheaths.

they make a great leather sheath for the fiskars.

think he makes kydex too.
 
Someone made a sweet kydex cover for a Fiskars I saw on BF once. It was orange and they had matching knife sheaths. I've got kydex but my skillz suck. :D Guess I could do leather too.
 
Go to the Maker's section of the forum, go down the page and you will come
to Kiah's section, he makes some great kydex sheaths for Fiskars, I think he might
have one up for sale right now, actually.
