Sheath for Hell Razor

I KNOW! That's the other thing...because BFs email system has taken a massive sh*t these past weeks, they haven't been able to email me my password (I know, i know, I forgot it....my bad). REALLY could've used some help on that issue.

More importantly...I missed the lilipputionganza or whatever that trainwreck of delicious infi was called. That black and blue g10 is SICK. in the good way.

Sorry bout the password issue. You should go get another Spec Ops, if you haven't gotten something else already. Trust me, you will love that sheath. If you do, just let us know. Quite a few people have gotten bigger knives than an HR into that sheath. Someone will walk you through resizing.

And the great thing is with Spec Ops, they will send you a new insert free of charge...should you mess up! I know......

Good to know. Guess I was a bit hasty on the return...

Personally, I blame whoever decided to make the busse forum "registered members only". This whole grim spectacle could've been avoided.

Got my Spec-Ops sheath today and my Hell Razor does not fit. It is almost
not wide enough. It stops about 1/2" from the handle. I probably will have to
modify it a bit. I was hoping it would fit without any mods.

They sent me two....free of charge! Great company...Got emails from the head cheese and everything on this issue. He even gave his suggestions on how to shape the kydex.

I got a small combat master coming for the HR I just bought, I knew I was going to have to remove the retaining screw but it sounds like I'm going to have to heat the kydex up to fit the HR's blade width. Which has me wondering...just how wide is the HR? I was under the impression it was under 1 3/4", which is the width Spec Ops says the kydex liner is. I figure it can't be the thickness...the liner will hold a 1/4" knife and the HR is well below that. Hmmmmm...guess I'll find out when it gets here. Sure hope they didn't use RED Loctite on the screw like the other one I had. It was a mother getting that screw out!

Got the hair dryer out last night and did my magic on the Spec-Ops liner.
Took a while but ended up perfect. It will work fine until I get a custom.

Don't use a hair dryer, go boil a pot of water. My Spec-ops survival sheath was too snug for my HR too. Boilding water softens the insert really well and won't turn it to goo. About 10 mins and three dips later and she is perfect now. The survival sheath rocks, only sheath I know where I can stash my Strider AR in the front pouch.
