Sheath for my new Le Thier

That's very cool of you Ken, and congrats G-2. I guess I was the unwitting beneficiary of Gary tearing up his ankle==I was actually referred to Gary by Ken as a guy to help locate a Thiers folding knife. I am the one who bought Gary's juniper Le Thier. I love this knife, and I can tell you, Gary has some magic in his sharpening skills, as this knife was literally the sharpest knife I have ever obtained! Gary was good enough to give me a few pointers, and I am waiting on some new stones right now, and will be putting some of Gary's techniques to use to the best of my abilities. I guess now my goal will be to purchase one of these sheaths from Ken--what say you Harronek?

I don't sell any of my work because with payment comes expectations .
I also don't have a Thiers to use to make another one :)
But if your willing to have a horizontal sheath with a weird different coloured belt loop ( it was an experiment to try and make the loop disappear and match my belt colour , and one I will not probably repeat ) then your welcome to have it as a gift. I was going through my bin of shame on the weekend and saw it there and at the time thought I should throw it out .
If your interested PM me your postal address .

Your silly about your work Ken. I've thrown out a few myself, but giving them away is a great idea. Not so much if you sell your work, but I'd wager that plenty of people would see beauty in your "seconds".

I take your point , but guess its just me :)
I'm continually on the search for the Holy Grail of sheaths and as you will know the maker of anything always sees the faults before the beauty .
But , and its a big " BUT " that search is what keeps the chase alive .
For example I have never made more than 4 sheaths of any one design . By then I've already had a new idea or thought and my next sheath is usually poles apart from the previous one . Although it may come across as dissolutioned with my work , the mistakes are what keeps me coming back and continually experimenting with different themes .
I decided the other day to not make anymore belt sheaths for awhile and concentrate on pocket folder slips , that has reinvigorated me to bend the Moo . In six months time it will be something else .
The leather virus is a strange beast :)
