Hello everyone! Its time to put up a revised list of Sheath Makers and Such (Such will be defined soon) The new rules for crafty people require a "Knife Maker, Craftsman, Service Provider" membership in order to sell and advertise your wares here. Sparks rule, not mine, just to clarify.

So, in order to list yourself here at this time you need to upgrade your membership level to Craftsman. The Upgrade is very cheap advertising, and also gives you permission to sell in the exchange as well.

I apologize for the stir up, but things change and evolve, and we think this is an evolution in the right direction. :)

Here's the breakdown:

Real name:
Business name: (if applicable)
Specialty: ie leather, kydex, etc
Contact info: ie E-mail, website, phone, address

A couple of pics of your work wouldn't hurt.

Whats not allowed, non craftsman memberships, suggesting someone besides yourself, negative commentary. These posts will be dealt with by the Super in his own way.

Please keep all commentary out of the list so it doesn't get clogged up and will be easy to manage and search through.

I'll come in and add things as we go through the process here, but so far so good!

Thanks Everyone!!!
Dwayne

SUPEREDIT: If You let your membership lapse (for too long), you will be removed from this list. If you want to remain on this list it is suggested that you keep your membership updated and current.

Note: If your listing has been removed due to lapsed membership, please contact a sheath forum mod or super mod if you re-up and it will be returned. Listings are moved offline and not deleted, so no need to make a new post unless you just want to. - Kiah

Name same as my forum name, Gary W. Graley, probably better known as G2 on most forums as well.

Leather work

Belt carry Folder sheaths and very supple slip sheaths for those nice custom slip joint folders

All are formed tightly to the knife for a good friction fitup, so, these would not be sheaths for your Safe Queen knives, they are for using knives.
Also not all knives work well in my style of sheaths so I'd need to see the knife in the closed position to see the contours.

and some images of some slip sheaths

Email works best to contact me if you have any folder sheath needs,

chiseledge at yahoo.com

Thanks,
G2

Twenty five years experience as a professional leather craftsman, I am also a knife maker. Together my wife and I, make leather sheaths, holsters, leggings, rifle scabbards, purses, martingales, spur straps and much more. Check the website for a full selection of our products, all handcrafted by us. Our sheath designs are time tested, cowboy tough and durable. You don't have to be a rancher, they are perfect for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing and work too. They are compact, secure and comfortable. Everything is hand made, hand tooled and constructed from the finest materials. Herman Oak and Wickett and Craig are used for sheaths, holsters, scabbards etc and various chap leathers are used for the purses and leggings. If you're needing a sheath for your knife, or heck, a knife and sheath give us a call. Spending too much time on BF? Check out the purses my wife makes. Get one for your lady and you won't be in trouble any more. Thanks for looking, hope you enjoy the pics.

My name is Vinnie Torsell. My BF name is VJT.

I primarily make kydex sheaths for busse/kin since that’s what I like and basically all I have, but I can make you custom sheaths for anything you’ve got up to 20” in length. I also make hand made danglers.

I don’t have a website. I do all of my sales locally or through bladeforums. You can always find a fresh sales thread in the busse sales forum containing my pricing and policies. All work is guaranteed. Send me a PM or you can find my email in my profile if you’re interested. Here are some examples of my work. 48A5C227-5353-44F1-A992-70F345E3EC16.jpeg50E18083-579E-4444-9D01-03E3AA05DB7B.jpeg27CC8BC8-9E04-4AE7-B595-7156EA537E95.jpeg6D0A23DD-2EAC-48C8-A2BB-7CE2A2378D39.jpegC02CB8A7-73D2-49C9-9757-B3998AA9CC2F.jpeg

My name is Greg K. Walker, and along with my wife Amy, we run a small family studio as Rustic Terrain Leathercraft Ltd.

My wife and I have been in the leatherwork industry for over 20 years. Our journey began with dyeing cowhide, focusing on achieving vibrant and consistent colors. Over time, we expanded to designing tooling patterns and crafting one-off designs. Initially, we worked on wallets, handbags, and belts, but around 2014-2015, we transitioned into creating outdoor leather products, including knife sheaths, which have since become one of our specialties.

Our specialty: Handmade Leather Sheaths specifically made for belt-carry (Trapper for folders, standard fixed blades & other SOG knives). We only make them in small batches at a time because we still have to take care of the horses in our barn, so grab them while they last.

Here are some of the work that you might find interesting:

A handle cover & clip-on sheath for SOG Instinct Mini for the SOG Instinct Mini (I always had the pain of not having a grip for my pinky finger, this handle cover perfectly solves it)

A multi-tool holder for Leatherman Wave+ (In Australia, you’ll never know what you’ll run into, it’s always important me to carry all my essentials without having too many things hanging off my belt. That’s why I wanted something that fits a multi-tool, a LED torch, my flint stone, a clip for my fishing line cutters, and space to clip my benchmade)

Trapper folding knife sheath with tooling with basket & animal footprint tooling(Available in two sizes, fits as small as a benchmade 15031, or as big as a buck 110)

Website: https://www.rusticterrain.com/
Email: support@rusticterrain.com

We’re currently working on other things such as phone holders, and UHF radio holsters with vintage styling. Stay tuned.
