Sheath Nightmare

I am having a terrible time trying to get someone to make me a custom kydex sheath with a nylon case, ala Strider's sheaths.

Special Operations Equipment Technologies turned me down because they are in the process of moving. Eagle Industries won't do custom work any more.

Frank Sigman at Edgeguard can do it, but $100 is more than I want to spend.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm considering forgoing the nylon and doing a cocealex or kydex sheath, but I had my heart set on a rig like Strider's.

Thanks for all of your help!

Contact Eric Noeldechen (a.k.a. Normark) in this forum (do a search). His Concealex sheaths are superb pieces of design.

Scott Hendryx is the sheath maker Benchmade employees buy their sheaths from. I have purchased about ten sheaths from him. He is a craftsman. I'm not familiar with Strider's sheaths but Mr. Hendryx sells a "Web Silencer". I have one. Scott's brochure states, "Web Silencer: If silence and stealth are of the utmost importance this web sheath can be made to fit over your Kydex sheath body." In addition a front, rear or both front and rear Cordura pouch can be attached to carry small items such as compass, tinder, hone etc. The web silencer alone is $18.
Scott's number is 208-377-8044. He lives in Idaho and works another job so call after 7:30pm EST.
