I just bought a SJT and I was wondering what kind of sheath would be good for it. I don't plan on using it as an EDC but I would like one that I could wear if needed. Thanks.

Semper Paratus Tactical, if you want to go nylon type gear. Top notch work. If leather is your thing try Mt. Mike or Leatherman. For mydex I recommend Okuden and Buy Brown. Their retention methods differ, but each make good stuff.

Thanx for the info. I like the look of the SJT, but I am guessing they are not as popular because they are in stock at the Company store. Is this the case?

Not true, they seem immensely popular as far as I can tell. Skunker probably anticipated this and ordered more to make sure he had them to fill the demand.

I agree with what Progunner has said above and would add that when they are gone (which will happen sometime in the future) everyone will be wanting one. I've seen this plenty of times in the past, the knife you want seems to be available everywhere, you decide to wait thinking it will be easy to find one later, but then it happens, they start to disappear, almost unnoticeable at first. Then the price starts to rise on the ones still around, the secondary market feels that they are getting harder to get and the price rises even more. All of a sudden you find yourself without the knife you really want or you have to pay $100 over what it originally sold for.

Look at how it has happened to the Company Store stock in the past, the SF NO, the Meaner and Leaner Meaner Streets. Now they aren't on the store site and they sell quickly and for more on the secondary market.

The Busse ZT series used to come up for sale often, now they come up less often and sell for more. My suggestion is if you have the $ buy a SJ Tac, if you find something you like better later you can always sell it.

:D:D

Speak the truth my brother. Skunk has told me that in reality the stock that he gets is "supposed" to last a few months so that the store always has knives in. However, being the hogs we are some models definitely go extremely fast. I'm actually hoping that the SJTACs on the site stay up for a few months so that I can buy a couple and slow the bleeding from my credit card. However, I can't wait for the LE SJTACs to go up!!! Oh yes, she will be mine. ;) :D

No, not much of a self promoter. I haven't had the time to do much sheath work lately. the few I have done lately were for active duty military. If I get out of my current work situation, watch out. :D Thanks to you for the kind words as well. :)

Wow, I am shocked at all the responses. Thanks gentlemen. I am looking forward to getting my SJT in the mail. Once it arrives I will post some pics with my Kifaru gear.

That's it, I'm buying everything the store has!!!

Good Grief Eric's scary. No lie. When I read this it like he's talking in a low voice in the beginning and then as he talks his voice gets louder and faster, and louder and faster, and the music in the background gets louder and louder to match the volume of his voice. Louder and faster and louder and faster as he talks until the end and I let out a scream and get goosebumps!!! AHHHHHH!!!

Go ahead, try it. Nobody's watching. :D
