Made up this little sheath for the knife I made with the help of David Farmer. I thought this blade would be good to carry with my quiver.

I put a horizontal strap on the back with a snap on it. Then I made a belt loop that attaches to it. One cool thing is I can add a snap to just about anything to increase carry options. Another cool thing about the snap is that it rotates....so no matter what position the quiver is in the handle of the knife is always up.

Pictured with the badass stalker quiver Sticshooter sent me filled with equally excellent cedar arrows by Mtnfolk Mikes father-in-law.

I shall call thee "Deallyra of the House of Fëanor". Give Elrond my regards. :D

Seriously, nice setup man. I'd be almost afraid to take all that out of the closet.

Excellent Bruce!

That lil knife looks great as well. Did you do the handles?

Whoa. Really great work B.

Gorgeous! The dye colors are incredible! How did you do that? It looks antiqued.

......and again with the staggered stitching.... niiiiice.....

The knife is beauty too!

Great work, Ilbruche!

Bruce,
Maybe the best leather sheaths I have ever seen. Your work reminds me of nicely carved coffee tables and high quality furniture. Good stuff!

On the way Gene.

Sure did. The handles are redwood burl.

I like to mix dye colors and I dilute the dye with booze. This time I used whiskey, sometimes bourbon if my roomate has some in the liquor cabinet. Doing multiple coats is the best way I have found to get an even coloration.
