The sheath looks kinda homemade and crude. The triple BUCK snap makes it newer than about 1990 I think.
Here is a small nylon double sheath.

I don't want it but I might could carry 300 series knives in it to show off or try to sell. At first I thought it might be for carrying several different sharpening stones. Do think its home-made. Somehow they used a Buck snap. What about Selector blades holder ? 300

I thought of Selector blade holder as well. Just didn't say it because it looked non-Buck factory. DM

There you go Sit, I think you might have something there.

Those of you interested and who are members go to the BCCI website and look at the mid-90's catalogs. I didn't see one an exact match but the snap stamping is the right era. BUT, let me warn you, you go back and look thru those catalogs and you will have a blood pressure spike and drool on the front of you shirt....stag, David Yellowhorse in several models, 110s in special scale and metal......be prepared........300

I'm going to disagree with the dart theory for two reasons. Darts come in sets of three, not four and there are four pouches in that sheath. Also, I just measured two sets of my old competetion darts and both sets measure right at 4 1/4" tip to tip not counting the flights, so they would be too long to fit.

I know that some darts have removable/replaceable shafts, but it would be unusual in my experience to have to disassemble them (other than taking off the flights) to put them in their carrying case.

That was just a guess because the short pocket looked like a flight holder. Probably a bad guess.

OK, ok, logic will win out in the end. The holders shown in the 1995 look long and not as wide. It does not show the inside of one. Plumb, pull up that 95 catalog and feel the 'want'.

Craig, I can't find anything about darts or holders in the '95 catalog. They stop listing them after '93.

Another photo of the mystery sheath for your amusement (courtesy of the vendor from the auction site).

I see the plain, clear and bright outline of a selector blade in the leather of the right sleeve.

Brilliant detective work and logic. What a forum. 1/2 a beer for everyone! :)

The pouch was made to carry short and long selector blades IMHO.

Would a 4 1/2" blade allow the flap to fold over and snap?
