Sheathing for RC6

The OD green and khaki versions are in the get works and should be available by SHOT SHow, Jan 2010. Same on the RC5 cordura sheath which is only available right now in black. No fire kit loop on these but there is one in the RAT Pack which can be removed from the kit and used on any gear with standard 1" spaced webbing. Our goal here with all the new options is to make carry as versatile as possible for the buyer/user. We are also working on getting colors in the RC6 hard sheath so it will match better with the new gear. I know a lot of guys have asked about dying the standard tan sheath to black but if you'll hang in thewre a bit we should be able to stock black and OD Green RC6 hard sheaths as well as the tan. And it never stops. We are now working on at least 6 new products (not just options) for the near future. We really aren't trying to run you guys broke, just trying to give everybody what they want.:) Mike

Hey TTD. Grats on the purchase. One question..

Can you attach the pouch to the sheath without the back? I was wondering since you can buy them separate.

WOW very nice! I didn't realize these were available, I better pay more attention!! I really like the way this looks and very modular design, great job RAT and thanks Tony for posting this. Placing my order right NOW!

That SAK is sweet Tony. I'll just follow you around until that fire kit falls out of that loop. :D

MOLLE back or pouch can be attached independant of the other to the RC6 or RC5 sheath. So you don't have to use them both at the same time. The pouch will attach to anything if you use paracord instead of screws or if you use only two top screws. But it is a little big to work well on RC3.

Thanks Mike!

Thats cool because I think the way I'd like to carry an RC6 would be by that new belt clip, and the pouch on the front.

That is one sweet set up. Once again RAT comes through with the best.

I can't wait to get my hands on it and some of the other goodies that will be coming out.

Once the RC-10, machete and folder hits the market, we will pretty much have all the knives covered that we feel need to be built. We are gradually turning our focus to soft goods and other survival tools. No sense coming out with a new knife every 3 months because it's not needed.
