Sheaths for 14" Tramonita Bolo Machete?

K - I have the same problem... Ilbruche could make a leather one, and Leatherface could make leather or kydex, but I haven't seen anything commercial.

Mine I got with a cloth thing for $2. wildmanh is making one for me as we speak.
 
I carefully tore down and shortened a U.S. sheath to fit my 12 inch machete. Did it with a drill and a few rivets.
 
I believe the Cold Steel Bolo sheath will fit the Tram bolo. The dimensions are nearly the same, as far as I can tell. Not much in the looks department, but what the hey, it's a $5 machete, right?
 
There is a two inch differeance btween the two.
BUD K sells a Monster Machete which is a bolo machete made in china, but the sheath is perfect for the Tramontina 14-inch bolo. It's $10 and made of cordura and nylon.

Yeah, you're right, it's not too bad. I have a nylon sheath from a Patrol Machete that I use. It's a bit of a tight fit, but with a little effort, it goes in OK. No quick draws possible, but I know it won't be falling out either...

This is what I use. The cold steel bolo has a 16" blade, but the sheath for it is only 1" longer than the blade on the 14" Tramontina bolo.
