Sheepsfoot blades are so much sexier than they sound. Show me yours.

I once read that the Sheep's Foot blade profile evolved out of the days of sail. Whenever a newly pressed sailor came on board, the petty oofice in charge then would seize any long, pointy dagger knife and snap off the tip. Then th sailor would get it ground down with the only acceptable shape being the blunt sheep's foot.

Sounds reasonable . . . .

Not enough love! Generally, I lean more towards a Wharncliffe and there is zone of overlap with loosely applied definition. Still, some really great Sheepsfoot knives out there. This version of the Kizer Domin is one of my all-time favorites.
