I was on the Sheffield web site. Does anybody know anything about Sheffield Steel. Is it processed differently? Is it Alloyed to the teeth or simple stuff? Seems a lots been said about it.

Certainly not my favorite Joe Cocker album, but I would never describe it as 'alloyed to the teeth'! :D:D;)

...sorry, bro. Couldn't help myself.:)

Historically sheffield was the major center of making "blister steel" from wrought until one of the first documented cases of industrial espionage shared that nice little trade secret across Europe, but Sheffield has been the center of English cutlery manufacture for about 500 years

It doesn't mean anything unless the composition is specified !!!
