Would like to offer this Sheffield style Bowie.
I don't make a lot of Bowies but if I do this is usually the style I make.Hope you like it.

This knife is forged from J.D.-5160 round stock and heat treated to 58-59 RC by me.

O.A.L. is 14-1/8 inches.

Blade is 8-15/16 X 1-1/2 inches x .197 with a clipped point and double bevel that runs 5-1/4 inches up the blade. Guard is Nickle Silver and fluted all the way around. Butt cap is also nickle silver and fluted to match the Sambar Stag handle. The spacer between the guard and stag is stabilized buckeye.
The butt cap is threaded onto the tang of the knife to make a very solid handle.
Knife comes with a hand tooled sheath by Pat Smith.
Price- $475.00 + shipping SOLD

Wow! $475 for a mastersmith bowie of that size with stag handle is an unbelievable deal. If I had the money, I'd buy it.

Very nice! I see your sheaths are made by Pat Smith. Is that the same P. Smith who buillds wood & canvass canoes? I know he's also in your area.

Ray,

I'm interested, but have question regarding size of the grip. Email to follow.

That was fast!

A beautiful piece of work. I got the chance to check her out this weekend and I didn't want to put her down. Another great piece Ray!
