Awhile ago I came into a Spyderco Southard. Probably pretty high up on my all time favorite knives list. However the brown scales nagged me every time I used, fondled, flipped, and looked at it. Enter my search for replacement scales. I came across a young man, ShepardCC. Loved what I saw so I dropped him a line.

Now comes the good stuff. From the very first pm his communication was stellar and stayed that way all the way through the process. He his one of the nicest people I have worked with. Updates where unsolicited and plentiful. Picture request where full filled anytime I asked. His turnaround time was great.

In summary if you need to make your great knife an excellent one, don't hesitate to look him up.

I haven't had any work done by him, but have had interaction with him in the Exchange. Awesome guy to deal with. Super friendly and like the OP said, his communication is great. Shepard is an asset to the forum!
