I don't understand it either. All their Case XX stuff is on their site. I asked why they don't put their Buck stuff there - at least the exclusives. Lady, very nice btw, didn't know. So I asked how am I supposed to know what they have. Lady said that I need to call and ask. But I can't ask for what I don't know exists. It seems if they put their exclusives on the site, they'd sell out relatively fast. Maybe they want them there as a draw for visitors. I don't know.I think it's weird for a store with 2 websites and selling stuff, to not selll things from last year on their websites. almost like they want to hold inventory, which is a kiss of death for a retailer........
I am glad someone was able to take advantage of the tidbit of knowledge I gained today. Thanks!
I just called them and one is on the way.
When you compare the price on that 192 to the LE from last year with the green migrate handle, it's a pretty good buy.
That and Vanguards are the coolest knives that Buck makes.

that's a good point of having inventory for in person purchases. although seems a fulll year is a super long time to hold inventory.I don't understand it either. Yeah. Why are they not there? I checked to make sure they weren't. It is a mystery the world may never know.that's a good point of having inventory for in person purchases. although seems a fulll year is a super long time to hold inventory.
isn't there other site c&c for Buck and few other brands....
One just sold yesterday for $234.The other burgundy Micarta 192 was the limited edition with black G10 pommel and guard and 20CV blade. Wouldn't mind having that one but I suspect it was pricey. Brass is better than G10. I see one for $399.99. I think that is about $100 more than they sold at retail. Edit: I looked it up. MAP was $295 in 2019.
Dang. I am not watching 192s that closely. But I would have paid that. There are too many 192s that I'd want. How much do they give for old man plasma? One just sold yesterday for $234.
I had been a watching it for a month. But I already have one.

It is a weird retail setup IMO. Copper & Clad is their Buck outlet and physically located elsewhere in Springfield, MO. C&C does not have a public storefront. The huge Shepherd Hills Cutlery Outlet in Lebanon has all sorts of knife company banners on the outside but not Buck's. Half the retail space is gift shop type stuff.I don't understand it either. I do have that.I think there's fewer 192 variations than many other knives.
Many of the 192 customs have blade cut-outs, so if you exclude them there's fewer yet.
Unless you're collecting blade stamps.
I seldom see anything I don't have, excluding the Danny 192 that folks think is worth $$450+
I don't know. There are 21+ build-outs alone. But you are definitely correct about the cut-out - a lot of them. I am not a big fan of cut-outs. But I do have a few. Maybe I should just concentrate on ones with buffalo handles. My main collection is 112s and I have my hands full with that. I need to win the lottery.I think there's fewer 192 variations than many other knives.
