Sherpa-style Khukuri

Is there any chance that any of the HI kamis will reproduce the brass capped, heavy pommelled, Sherpa-style khukuris anytime in the near future?

Main problem is Uncle doesn't have/have access to a sherpa type for use as a model and no kamis that know how to make them.

There's a pix of a pix somewhere. RayC has one but won't let it go back to Nepal as a model. He retire this knife when Kancha Kami died.

Talked with Ray a night or two back and he's in a major life change right now. With luck he'll show up here in Reno in the spring for an extended visit. In 1991 Ray ran HI for about 8 months when Yangdu and I were in Nepal. He's part of the HI team.

If I can ever get back to Nepal I'll try to find a Sherpa style and if I can we can duplicate it.
