She's got the looks that kill. Poison Sebenza comes home.

The lanyard came off and she hit the pocket for the first time tonight. I've been carrying, getting to know, and really digging my large Plain Jane Insingo (maybe more than any CRK I've ever carried....just love it), but it's time to mix it up and the next couple weeks belong to the Poison Sebenza. Maiden voyage begins.

That is one great looking knife, and love the story behind the wood (read your original post thread too, very nice BTW) as well.

I think that's one of the coolest looking CRK inlays I've ever seen.

Thanks jmclfrsh. The inlays have a subtle beauty I really like. Not super flashy, but a lot of depth all the same.

Really a very pretty knife, congratulations you have so many great knives. I really like the polished titanium on the wood inlays, it is a such nice pallet for the inlay. I wish they would also offer the Micarta this way.

Great photos as usual!

I carried a large Plain Jane and like you thought it's was great. I've had a 25 for a while but still seemed to gravitate to the Insingo most of the time. Unlike with your Poison, my 25 came sharp from the factory but not as sharp as I typically keep my Insingo. Therefore last Saturday I broke out the WE and re-profiled the 25 to 17 degrees a side. I started with the 800 stones so I did not get deep scratches. Worked up to 2500 before stropping. It was "wicked" sharp when finished. Since then I have only carried the 25. Honestly I think the reason I keep going to the Insingo was the sharpness of the 25. I see the 25 being the go to EDC for a while now that it is sharp. The 25 also has the benefit of being novel because it was not carried that much.

PS - we know based on your other thread that lanyard use is about a 50/50 split. I am in the like lanyard camp so I left it on my 25 for EDC use.

I saw the thread title and couldn't help but think..... "Looks that Kill" is a Motley Crue song and not a Poison song."

Those are among the best looking inlays I have ever seen !

Congrats !

Interesting about the smell too. I was unaware of that. Thanks for sharing.

Cody, nice glamour shots. This is one beauty of a knife. I am sure you'll enjoy it for a long time. I am glad to know about the risks associated with timboti. There are numerous risky woods and this is a new one to me.

Going to be carrying my Large 21 Tamboti for the month of April. Started a little early I guess. Still can't say enough about this knife. Really love everything about it. If you like the looks of it, I noticed one almost identical to it on that website from Arizona. At a killer price too! Still smells nice after all these months. One of the few CRKs that delights all of the senses!
