No, they're their own pattern. The way I understand it, the Gray replaces the tan in Tequila.

No, it just depends on what the blanks they have on hand have been ground to. I would have preferred a bit thicker had the choice been mine.

They DO feel great! They're my first hand-smoothed G10, and they are awesome. Smooth, yet still grippy.

That's a good question (I noticed that too), and I don't think so. While I haven't measured to check, I did eyeball it and I think it is some kind of optical illusion caused by the jeweling making the flat face look larger. Will have to measure it and see.
 
Yep. Might have taken longer than usual because of the G10 color, but I don't know. It's not uncommon for custom shop orders to take 16 weeks.
 
If its not against the rules, what did that sweet sweet blade cost you? In the process of saving up for something similar from the shop. to round out the mud puppy, tequila sunrise active duty, sfno,

I don't know about all that...I am at 29 weeks now:( Hopefully soon. I certainly don't want to annoy or rush them. They do excellent top-notch work:thumbup:

Sorry, I'm not going to post that info. I will say it was a lot less than secondary market tends to be on c/s NMFBMs, but you have to wait. Best bet would be to get a quote from the custom shop.

Man, I'd post an e-mail to Lexi or Garth simply asking for a status update. That seems too long unless it was something exotically special.

Nah nothing exotic at all really. I emailed Lexi back awhile ago asking if she ever heard back from Garth, but she never replied. I sure would love an update though:D Anything but the dreaded "two weeks" Soon!:thumbup:

about the same here - that gives me hope :thumbup: i really dont care how long my order takes as long as i get it someday :D

the only problem is i keep spending money on expensive folders while i am waiting :eek:
