that would be the sparks coming off of the belt.vern

oh what you want to do is make something to ventilate

build a box with a bit of ducting to a fan

there is a decent amount of info on the forum of how to do it

i personally havent gotten around to it and im a sheet metal guy too

i use a bucket with water and a magnet

i have a 30 gal drum on the grindind belt, but i'm talking the sparks that come over the top side of the belt.

Use a water bucket under your wheel/platen and some type of dust collection.
