Shiny Clips...Please?

I have noticed a definite trend concerning the use of shiny clips (most of you want black ones). Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on this matter, but I personally like the shiny clips better than the black clips. What I want to know, is if any of you black clip people out there have a couple of shiny clips that you would want to get rid of. I have a few Spydies that I'd like to convert to shiny. Just email me or post a reply.

pillshovel, You're not getting my shiny clip. I think the stainless steel ones look nicer. I swapped my Endura's black clip with my Native's SS for a little while. Although it was a change, I preferred the SS. Plus, there's no paint to wear off. The black clip is starting to wear around the corners and edges and looking a little blah...

BTW, can the clips be purchased at dealers anywhere? Wouldn't mind getting the SS for the Endura. I'd swap the one on the Native with it but it's not a perfect fit.

Hmmm... what's below the black on the black clips? Would it be possible to shine up a black clip with, say, a dremel?!

The shiny clips look soooooo much better than the black ones. I would much rather have the shiny stainless clips than black. I really dont see subdued clips as being that much more tactical. The black clip stands out while wearing light colored pants and people that are perceptive enough to notice a stainless clip would certainly notice a black one.

I agree. SS looks way better, and I've found that ppl are going to question it whether it's black or SS. You can't really pass it off as a pager clip anymore..

Actually the Cold Steel Voyager's clip looks something like a pager clip. Once was asked about what kind of pager I carried. I discreetly slipped the blade down into the pocket and pulled out my pager and started talking about it as if it was clipped to the edge of my pocket and not the Voyager. Can't really get away with it with Spyderco clips though.
