Never been a problem for me - proper labeling helps of course.

Good luck with the purchase, if you are looking for Bark River give me a holler.

I have sent a number of them and have never had a problem. I have heard a couple of bad stories about the British company Parcel Force though. I can't remeber who's stuff they handle. U.S Postal Service Priority Mail is the only reasonably priced option for shipping something like a knife.

I buy loads of stuff from america, the only problem is things have vanished for up to a month before. Not lost anything yet though! The Parcelforce and customs charges are steep, but you only get caught about 10% of the time in my experience. Go for it!

I ask US people to send via USPS global priority. I'm just geting anew spyderco knife and they're charging $6 postage

values about £18 can bit hit for import taxes and the companies handling the mail on this end often charge a lot for sorting out these fees (parcel force charge about £14) royal mail charge less for the fee processing (was £4 though has gone up to £8).

It's a bit annoying that we pay tax on second hand goods but given the price differences it's often worth it for us. With paypal you get the money just as fast and we often save money. Everyone's a winner
