Shipping Times; Good and Bad

Just a thread to document shipping times from various purveyors. Feel free to add your experience.

First, my last two purchases;

Couteaux Berthier (Valence, France); ordered on 8-8-2023. Order acknowledged on 8-9-2023. Order received 8-11-2023 (yep, three days from Valence, France)

BladeHQ (Marion, VA); ordered on 8-30-2023. Order charged on 9-1-2023. Said shipped on 9-3-2023 (label made). Actually shipped on 9-5-2023. Arrived 9-7-2023

So...purchased a knife from Berthier (probably my second favorite purveyor) in France, arrived in three days.

I'll add more purveyor/times as they happen, feel free to post yours!

DLT Trading I don't remember the exact dates but I placed an order at about 5:00am on a weekday. At 12:22pm that same day the post office was in possession of the package. DLT Trading opens at 8:00am and closes at 5:00pm. Most small businesses have 1 mail pick up per day and it's usually in the late afternoon. I don't how or why the post office got it so soon but I was impressed and I let DLT know about it.
 
DLT Trading- Purchased last Saturday, Shipped Monday, Delivered Wednesday.

I had a question about the knife received- Asked on Thursday afternoon and answered first thing Friday morning.

A truly satisfying shopping experience= Thank You.
 
I have had 2 slipjoint knives stuck for 2 weeks, so far, in the French post office on their way to me....

I do not want to name the seller/maker in France, as I do not think it is there fault, apart from probably choosing the cheapest possible shipping option :)

I assume they have lost the parcel, really.

As far as shipping times go, the best for me have been DLT Trading, knifecenter, knifeworks, and my absolute favorite - Knives Plus (in Amarillo, by God, Texas).

BladeHQ sucks donkey balls. They wait a minimum of 3+ days to ship your stuff no matter what it is, in stock or not. They shipped one thing I ordered a solid week and a half after I ordered it and it took a week to get to me. Went radio silent when I asked what was going on. Piss poor fulfillment and customer service as well. They used to be a last resort for me but now it’s a hard pass.
