Hello,

I am very sorry to post about something not directly related to this thread but I didnt want to make a new one in case someone maybe have some answers.

At this point I am wondering if someone working for USPS has stolen my knife

I ordered a Burning Horizon midtech from steeladdictionknives the 31st of July, with USPS Priority Mail Express International to Norway (Money-back not eligible for me) with the included 100 dollar insurance. The delivery with Priority Mail Express International says it takes 3-5 business days to get from A to B.

9 Business days have passed since I placed the order now and the tracking has not updated since the package supposedly was in transit to destination, on the 2nd of August.
I know that the knife is perfectly legal for me to own. It is not an automatic knife, a balisong or has a blade lenght over the legal limit which is around 23 CM. I have several knives that I have ordered without problem from US before.

I tried to send an email to them but after trying to pinpoint my problem with all of the different categories and writing an email to USPS I went to fill in my info but apparently it is only possible for US citizens.
I also sat for an hour on waiting with terrible music before I got tired of waiting and hung up.

I feel that its a bad situation because I am not in the US so its going to be harder for me to fix the problem if the knife doesnt show up.

Please tell me if I should take my problem to a new thread or elsewhere.

Thank you.

edit: I might be overreacting, but I want to know where it is and why the tracking has not updated.

Express mail delivery times do not include the time sitting at your countries customs offices to be checked thru.
Updates to transit will not happen until your package is passed thru customs and arrives at the next sort facility or your local PO.
It is highly unlikely that anyone at USPS has stolen you package. It is more than likely waiting to be checked thru your customs system, I would suggest that you contact your customs office for information.

I would just wait a little longer. I've sent USPS priority international to several countries and it's not uncommon for it to take 2-3 weeks in some cases.

Exactly what they said, 3-5 days SHIPPED, it's most likely sitting in a room right now with a bunch of other packages waiting to be sent over there, keep updating

Give it a little more time.Shipping to the U.K. takes at least ten working days by that shipping method.Longer if held up in customs.
